Tacoma-Based Shannon Eakins, the ceramicist behind Slush Club, takes inspiration from her lived world to organically develop each collection. By adapting and transforming nerikomi techniques—stacking multiple clay bodies together—into complex patterns, and using locally-sourced clays with subtle gradations, each piece is completely unique.
