Dukkah (literally meaning "to pound") is a versatile Egyptian condiment. It consists of a coarsely ground mixture of aromatic herbs, spices and hazelnuts.
Best simply served in the traditional way with hard boiled eggs olive oil, and bread. Alternatively, use with dips, roasted vegetables, meats, and stews.
Seattle-based Villa Jerada, meaning “House of the Cricket”, was founded by Mehdi Boujrada 2011.
