Euphorbia Lactea Ghost (Potted)

Regular price

Scientific name: Euphorbia lactea 'White Ghost'

This is an artistic representation of the Euphorbia Lactea Ghost. Due to an unusual mutation, this Euphorbia has stems that range in color from very light green to white because they lack chlorophyll in their tissues. It prefers a more tropical environment than most other columnar Euphorbia, so this candelabra-shaped specimin is not as cold-hardy or drought-tolerant as its cousins.

Each Lactea Ghost comes pre-potted in a terracotta pot and a saucer. They range in size: small measures approximately 6" tall, medium approximately 6-8", and large are 8-10"+. We also have a very large and mature one, in a 14" pot. These are very special, hard-to-come-by plants for your arid collection. Only available for in-store pickup—we do not ship any plants! We recommend you come by the store first to check out these special succulents, as they are all unique.

We also have beautiful cristata forms, potted in 6" terracotta.

Rarity: Ultra-Rare.

Difficulty: Moderate.
Water: Water thoroughly when soil is dry. Does not tolerate extended periods of drought, but does not want to be sitting in wet soil. Cut back watering in the winter.
Light: Full sun, ideally southern or eastern exposure. Full western exposure may scorch the plant.
