Lophocereus Schottii Monstrose
Scientific name: Lophocereus Schottii f. monstrose
This is an artistic representation of the monstrose variety of the senita cactus, also known as the totem cactus. It's a rare and special collector cactus that naturally occurs as a mutation of Lophocereus (Pachycereus) Schottii, only found in a tiny region of Baja California. It is near to completely spineless and has extremely sculptural, deeply lobed ribs with a waxy look. The senita cactus has a mutualistic relationship with the senita moth, which is the sole pollinator for its flowers (though the monstrose is unlikely to bloom).
